Staying in Bitacora apartments for over 20 years, this January we had issues with rain water coming in under the front door reported issue, they put a bath towel across the door, the sink in the kitchen had no plug for water, reported on day one 11 days later still the same

Apartments are dated now and need av refurbishment, prices are gone extremely expensive, our family this January had 13 apartments, we won't unfortunately be booking again, better value to be got at much better prices.

We are genuinely sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during this stay. Our maintenance team always aims to provide quick and effective solutions, so we regret that the temporary measure applied to prevent rainwater from entering was not sufficient, and that the replacement of the kitchen sink plug was not handled with the promptness it should have been. We will review these procedures internally to ensure that similar situations are resolved more efficiently in the future. Regarding cleanliness and value for money, we understand your perception. Our housekeeping team works hard to maintain a consistent level of quality, and we will reinforce our internal checks to ensure every apartment meets the standards our complex is known for. As for pricing, rates can vary depending on season and demand, but we always strive to offer a fair balance between cost, facilities, and services. We are sorry that this year you did not feel the value matched your expectations. We also take note of your comment regarding refurbishment. While many guests appreciate the spacious layout and comfort of the apartments, we fully understand the importance of updating and improving, and we are evaluating enhancements to continue offering an experience that meets the expectations of our most loyal guests. It saddens us to hear that, after so many years and with such a large family group staying with us, you are considering not returning. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us continue improving. We are delighted to know that both the food and the staff left such a positive impression. We are, however, genuinely sorry to hear that the cleanliness of the apartment did not meet your expectations. This rating is significantly lower than what we usually receive, as cleanliness is one of the aspects most valued by our guests and one we monitor very closely. It would have been extremely helpful to have more details about what specifically did not meet your standards, as this would allow us to investigate the situation thoroughly and address it directly with our housekeeping team. Even so, we will review this internally to reinforce our procedures and ensure consistency. Regarding the value for money, we understand that each guest may perceive this differently depending on their experience.
