Each room had a very close pool view
I had a 6 year old and would have preferred a ground apartment, however I did not specify this to anyone. There wasn't much improvement needed.

We love staying at the Bitacora and just enjoyed our 14th stay as a family. We'll hopefully return next year a bit later in the year for a big family birthday celebration.
The only thing I would say is to have someone clearing towels that have been put down before the pool opened at 10am. This wasn't an issue for the first half of our stay however for the second half people were going under the barrier to claim beds before the pool had been opened.
